Ingredients :
- Pomfret Fish– half kilo ( washed and cleaned with salt and turmeric)
- Salt – 1 table spoon
- Turmeric – 1 table spoon
- Curd – 1 or 2 spoons full
- Lemon
- Chilli powder
- Onions
- Tomatoes for puree.
Procedure :
- take washed and cleaned fish and keep aside.
- add salt, turmeric, curd, lemon and chilli powder and apply to fish pieces and keep them aside for 30 to 45 minutes for marinating.
- Then switch on stove and pour oil ,onions,and tadka( How to prepare Tadka (పోపు) ).
- add tomato puree, salt and chilli powder and stir for a minute.
- To the above puree, add the marinated fish pieces and let it cook.
- add water as required. if you need more gravy, add little more water.
- Tasty Andhra Style Pomfret Fish curry is ready !!!
