Mushroom Lajawab

Ingredients :

  • Mushrooms – 250 grams
  • Corn flour
  • lemon
  • salt
  • chilli powder
  • turmeric
  • oil
  • soya sauce
  • coriander

Procedure :

  • wash and cut mushrooms and add corn flour, lemon, salt, chilli powder, turmeric and let them marinate for sometime.
  • then fry the mushroom pieces in oil.
  • add soya sauce and coriander for garnishing.
  • yummy mushroom lajawab ( manchuria ) is ready πŸ™‚

Carrot Sooji Halwa

Ingredients:

  • Semolina
  • Carrot grated
  • sugar – 1 small bowl
  • Ghee – 1/2 bowl
  • Elaichi
  • Cashew pieces
  • Almond Pieces
  • water

Procedure:

  • add ghee to a pan and saute sooji ( semolina ) till it becomes golden brown.
  • now add grated carrots and saute for sometime.
  • add sugar and water and let them cook for sometime.
  • now add cashew, almonds, raisins and elaichi.
  • cook till it becomes semi solid paste.
  • yummy carrot sooji Halwa is ready πŸ™‚

Chilli Chicken

Ingredients :

  • Chicken boneless – 500 grams
  • Oil
  • Onions
  • Tadka
  • Soya sauce
  • tomato sauce
  • chilli sauce
  • ginger garlic paste
  • corn flour
  • maida
  • salt

Procedure :

  • mix ginger garlic paste,corn flour,salt in little water.
  • wash chicken pieces and let them marinate in above mixture.
  • after that, shallow fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  • take a pan and add oil, ginger garlic paste, onions, tadka and saute for 5 minutes.
  • and soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce to it and salt and saute for sometime.
  • reduce the heat and add the chicken pieces now and stir.
  • serve hot with any rice item like fried rice, biryani etc πŸ™‚

 

Vegetable Rava Idli – Instant Healthy Breakfast


Rava Idli

Ingredients :

  • Rava (Sooji/Semolina) – 1 cup
  • salt
  • curd
  • cashews
  • carrot
  • cashew pieces
  • Oil
  • Tadka
  • Urad Dal
  • baking soda
  • Green chillis
  • ginger
  • curry leaves

 

Procedure:

  • chop carrots, green chillis, coriander into small pieces and keep aside.
  • heat oil in a kadai and prepare tadka and add urad dal.
  • add cashew pieces, cut carrot pieces, ginger ,coriander slowly and add rava.
  • roast rava gently but dont burn rava.
  • after it cools, add curd, baking soda,coriander leaves,carrot pieces,salt.
  • add water slowly and mix well without forming lumps.
  • then it becomes like idli batter.
  • keep the batter aside for 15-25 minutes.
  • now take idli tray ,apply oil and pour the batter in them.
  • steam cook idlis for 10-15minutes, like normal idlis.
  • serve hot with coriander chutney.
  • yummy rava idli is ready πŸ™‚

 

 

 

 

Ladies Finger Masala ( Bhindi Masala )

Ingredients :

  • Ladies Finger – 500 grams
  • Bengal Gram – 50 grams
  • Black Gram – 25 grams
  • Dry Coconut powder
  • groundnuts – 25 grams
  • Red chilli
  • jeera
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Tadka

Procedure :

  • fry bengal gram, black gram and keep aside.
  • then take the fried bengal gram, fried black gram, dry coconut, jeera,Salt, ground nut, red chilli and make into a powder using mixer grinder.
  • then make slits on the ladies finger, and stuff this powder in them.
  • prepare tadka.
  • now take oil in a pan and fry these ladies fingers.
  • yummy methi Ladies finger is ready πŸ™‚

Note : Same process can be followed for Brinjals as well. πŸ™‚ for this, use purple colored brinjals.

Prawns Biryani

Ingredients :

  • Mace ( Jaji kaya ) – 1
  • Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
  • Elaichi – 2
  • Clove – 8
  • Ghee – 2 table spoons
  • Basmati Rice – 500grams
  • Prawns – 250 grams
  • Green Chilli
  • Onions
  • Ginger Garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Water

Procedure :

  • Clean and wash the prawns.
  • Mix ghee and basmati rice and keep them aside.
  • Now grind mace, cinnamon, elaichi, clove into a rough paste and mix in the rice.
  • Take a pan and add Ghee, ginger garlic, clove, green chilli ,onions and then add prawns to it.
  • add water : for 1 cup basmathi rice, add 1.5 cup water.
  • add enough salt.
  • Allow it to boil and steam cook for sometime.
  • Yummy prawns biryani is ready !!

Prawn Gravy Curry

Ingredients :

  • Prawns– half kilo ( washed and cleaned with salt and turmeric)
  • Salt – 1 table spoon
  • Turmeric – 1 table spoon
  • Curd – 1 or 2 spoons full
  • Lemon
  • Chilli powder
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes for puree.

Procedure :

  • take washed and cleaned prawns and keep aside.
  • add salt, turmeric, curd, lemon and chilli powder and apply to prawns and keep it aside for 30 to 45 minutes for marinating.
  • Then switch on stove and pour oil , onions, and tadka.
  • add tomato puree, salt and chilli powder and stir for a minute.
  • To the above puree, add the marinated prawn pieces and let it cook.
  • add water as required. if you need more gravy, add little more water.
  • Tasty Andhra Style prawns curry is ready !!!
